Small, independently owned motorcycle shop looking for a licensed motorcycle mechanic. We specialize in vintage motorcycle repair and we also service modern bikes and scooters. This is a full-time position located in Ypsilanti, Michigan. Must have: • Valid Michigan Motorcycle Mechanic’s License • Valid driver’s license with motorcycle endorsement • Your own tools • Expertise in vintage motorcycle diagnostic and repair • Comfortable working with a wide range of motorcycle and scooter manufacturers (Japanese, British, European, American, Italian, etc.) The ideal candidate should have excellent verbal and written communication skills, be an effective team member, detail-oriented, mindful of timelines, personally accountable, and pursue customer safety and satisfaction above all. You should be able to efficiently perform simple maintenance to complete engine rebuilds. Most importantly you need to possess the ability to competently and efficiently diagnose problems. Any additional skills in fabrication (welding, metal shaping, paint, trim, etc.) is a plus. Pay based on experience and negotiated at time of hire.
